Summary/Abstract: The two military campaigns from 1916-1917 on the Romanian front demanded essential transformation of the Romanian field artillery (the acquisition of modern cannons and howitzers, topographic preparation of fire, the use of modern signal equipment, the improvement of firing methods and procedures and the maneuver of the artillery material and trajectories), making possible the victory in Mărăşti, Mărăşeşti and Oituz battles.
