Assessment of the Employees Knowledge Potential

Summary/Abstract: Conception of knowledge is complicated and various. From the scientific point of view knowledge nature and purport have already been researched for several decades by scientists of various fields, however universally accepted methods of knowledge assessment have not been created yet, besides there are different concepts used. Also an agreement which factors are the most important in the assessment of employees’ knowledge potential has not been reached. Factors that have been considered in the described option of the model of assessment of the employees’ knowledge potential are these: education, vocational experience, position level, decision acceptance degree and responsibility, self-sufficiency at work, work culture, technology used at work, work difficulty level, motivation and worker’s influence on reaching organization objectives. The practical acceptability of the model has been checked by an experiment.
