Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the situation of Romanian language and culture nowadays, when young people especially express themselves carelessly or even badly in their mother tongue. The fact is explained by means of the role played by mass-media and Internet. At the same time, a parallel is made between the alignment in Paris and the one from Târgu-Jiu, the last one created by Constantin Brâncuşi, due to what a young lady had said about it.
