Summary/Abstract: This paper will discuss certain highlights of Quine’s philosophical system, relative to the postmodern thought in the United States of America. Our endeavour draws on Quine’s linguistic epistemology, logical positivism and empiricism, with a view to illustrating a few relative aspects of the shortcomings in analytical philosophy, thus establishing Quine, besides Rorty, as an important contributor to postmodern theory.
