Étatisme of Science. The Soviet Experiences

Summary/Abstract: There was no united scientific community in Russia in the 20th century which would have its own values, rules of selforganisation and would be politicly independent. The main tasks of scientific politics were determineted by the state and academic adminstration. That is why the lack of confidence bestrides the science too. Author, on the grounds of contemporary historical and social researches of scientists from Sankt Petersburg considers the reasons of this phenomenon.
