Summary/Abstract: This study deals with the personality of a bishop less known in the tumultuous history of the last century, which in the 33 years of archiepiscopate was not a single day holder in any diocese in the country. This bishop who served the Metropolitan of Bukovina was expelled from the episcopal and despise. What Metropolitan Visarion Puiu in the Metropolitan of Bukovina began and failed to finish in 1940, when he was forced to retire out, sought to continue and to complete Bishop Emilian Antal during three years as Archpriest in Suceava.
