Poetic and Reporting Remarks on the Style of Podróż do Ziemi Świętej z Neapolu by Juliusz Słowacki

Summary/Abstract: The article includes an analysis of various components of poetic descriptions and reporting elements combined in Słowacki's poem (autopsy descriptions, subjective narration, assertive character) resulting mainly in the clash of précising elements and rich poetic means (lexical pietisms, comparisons, metaphors). What makes it a poem of a unique style, however, is the formation of original literary communication, in which the reader is so activated in the report that he becomes not only a participating recipient but also a co-creator of the unusual narration.
