Summary/Abstract: This study encompasses some of the most distinguished achievements of Bishop Nicolae Ivan who revived the eparchy in Cluj—achievements that undoubtedly place him among other founders and great benefactors of this religious jurisdiction. Bishop Nicoale Ivan is the incontestable founder of the Diocese of Vad, Feleac, and Cluj; of its cultural institutions (the library of the eparchy, the museum of the eparchy, the choir of the diocese, review Renaşterea, and “Călindariul Clujului Românesc”); of its social and economic institutions; of the Theological Institute / Academy; of the monumental cathedral; of many churches and monasteries across the entire eparchy; of the feeling of national dignity; and of the faith, generosity and responsibility of every member of the ecclesial group assigned to his care
