Application of data envelopment analysis in company classification process

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the possibility of using Data Envelopment Analysis in the classification process. The method was used to create an acceptance domain (the set of production possibilities) for companies characterized by a low level of credit risk. Then the classification function was used to classify all data. At the same time the discriminant analysis was applied to check the conformity of classification results. A classification matrix was used to compare the two methods used in this study.
