Polish climate policy: an analysis.

Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses Poland’s climate policy from 1988 to 2010. The author presents background, as well as the main factors affecting climate policy in Poland – the foremost factor being European Union policy. In the author’s opinion, the main problem of Polish climate policy is the lack of political will to effectively address energy issues and their effects on climate change. The article also describes the predicted directions of climate policy and the necessary changes that should be implemented in Poland.
