Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the Romanian participation in the Second Balkan War (1913), discussing not only the military preparations and the campaign against Bulgaria, but also the diversity of opinions regarding Romania’s involvement in the war. A special section of the article presents the contemporary assessments of the actions of the Romanian Army, featured to the south of Danube. This conflict ended with the Peace of Bucharest.
