The first De la Gardie–Odoevskiy’s embassy of the new Novgorod government in Moskow and Stockholm in 1611 and the fate of their participants

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to negotiations with the Swedes in Novgorod in the Time of Troubles for the election a Swedish prince as Russian tsar. The author clarifies the reasons why the people of Novgorod appealed to Swedish King, leads full list of the Novgorod Embassy and traces the further fate of all its participants.
