«Lisovchiki» at the Battle of White Mountain in 1620 (On the question of military activities of the Ukrainian Cossacks after the Russian Time of Troub

Summary/Abstract: These theses deals with the unsufficiently known in native historiography episode of Cossacks «Lisowchyks’» participation in the battle on White Mountain in the November 8, 1620, where the army of insurgent Czech estates was defeated. The author notes that many former Zaporozhyans foughts with «Lisowchyks», which after limitations of Cossacks register of Polish authorities in 1619, were forced to look for new place of military service. The equipment, armament and tactic of «Lisowchyks’» detachments in part of emperor’s army during collision with the army subunits of protestant estates on White Mountain is cleared too.
