Summary/Abstract: Article deals with the trends in contemporary Russian historiography of the Time of Troubles. I divide two main tendencies: the integration to World historiography and the reproduction of state mythology been plotted in 17th century. The tendencies in general texts on the Time of Troubles and some regional (Novgorod and Pskov) studies are revisited.
