Summary/Abstract: Indeclinable attributes began to infiltrate into Russian and Czech languages in the 18th century and this process was continuing in the 19th and 20th century. These words were mostly borrowed from French. Many indeclinable attributes have appeared in Russian and Czech during last decades. They are mostly also of a fo-reign origin (very often English), but there are many differences between „old“ and „new“ indeclinable attributes. Word connections with indeclinable attributes are on one hand created in the both languages on the same basis but on the other we may trace certain differences. They relate to many areas of human activities and can be classified in different ways.
