Summary/Abstract: The study proposes few subjects: the neo-conservative „spiritual revolution”, the fundamental conservatism as a root of the neo-conservative vision about democracy, the state and the international system reshaping. These subjects represent a constitutive part of the recent political conservatism with a generous public, academic and decisional presence in the latest fifty years. This survey unveils the causes that have facilitated the rise of the neo-conservative right political cycle and have deposed the supremacy of the left ideology in the public west-European and north-American life and culture.
