Summary/Abstract: The author of the essay deals with the necessity of the formation of European journalism. A good way to accomplish this, for instance, is learning about each other‘s different history. Later on, the author thinks of the future of the European journalism. He considers it to be strongly related to the future of the professional journalism in general, to the development of practice connected with economy of the media, development of communication and the expectations of the audience.
