Summary/Abstract: The present article present a study regarding the psychological profile of the candidates in the 2009 presidential elections in Romania. The study was performed in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, on a sample of 400 subjects; the instrument used in the research was bFIVE, an instrument for measuring brand personality parameters. The two objectives of the research are: (1) identifying the personality profiles of the main presidential candidates as they are perceived by the category of convinced supporters and (2) identifying any correlations between the values and lifestyles of the convinced supporters of a candidate and the personality traits of the latter.
