Summary/Abstract: The article provides a quick introduction to the Dayton Peace Agreements and discusses the problems of its institutionalization in the life of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The author gives a short historical perspective of the treaty, and current security, economic development, and ethnicity issues in the country. A general overview of the current state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is provided.
