Summary/Abstract: The international trade represents a sensitive dimension of international relations, the commercial crises affecting, as in the domino game, the national states, and according to Amina Lahrèche-Revil, there are two decisive elements for the achievement of effects in such crises: the opening (with reference to the trade reported to the GDP) and the specialization, which is shaped both by the exchanges with the trade partners and also by the sector dimension. At the same time, there should be noted that the countries with an open economic structure are the first affected by the global trade crises. In this respect, the analysis regarding the management of the global trade crisis during the interwar period in Romania is edifying.
