Summary/Abstract: The main focus of this article is on the issue of social responsibility of corporation at a time of progressing globalization processes and harmonization of the principles of accounting. The article emphasizes the growing importance of the concept of accountability in the operations of business entities, and attempts to identify the role of accounting in the development of social responsibility of enterprises.
