Summary/Abstract: This study focuses on the mechanism amicus curiae considered a highly effective and coherent support for policy implementation European Community competition. Regulation 1/2003 of the European Commission implemented some basic directions of reform in the application of Community competition. An empirical analysis of those fundamental directions could highlight idea that national courts of Member States will play an increasingly important in the application of EU competition policy
