The fast modernization after the revolutions against communist dictatures in East Central Europe caused a deep transformation in the political organization of society to a new order and with new ideas, as an effect to the cataclysmis charges of 1989. Without any doubt in East Central Europe the events after 1989 brought a lot of transformation all over Europe. The re-division of Europe from the point of view of European security has concrete effects. Making the examination of the relations between the mass-media and the social and political environment in the post-communist states in East Central Europe we try to explain the phenomenon of communications with his positive and negative reactions in those different political systems/regims. The actual policy in East Central Europe includes the effort of building up political pluralism, the reconstruction of the whole society from an economic, cultural and political point of view. “Western strategy” is an expression of anti-communism system, the progressive institutionalization of economic and political changes, cumulatively producing a social assault on the totalitarian dictatorship.
