Summary/Abstract: The article reflects on the recently published book of literary critic "The direction of the Eighties in Romanian Poetry" by Andrei Bodiu in correlation with Adrian Otoiu's "Border transit"The author observes the way the two works complete each other, one opening way for the other. Both authors agree on the fact that the Romanian writer of the eighties is an "outsider" one insisting on the politic nonessential role of the Romanian writer of the eighties the other producing an entire theory on the frontier in Romanian prose of the 80ies.
