Sources for studying the demographic processes in our lands until the national liberation

Summary/Abstract: PHYLOSOPHY OF MEDICINE / In this study, we try to reveal the main demographic processes in Bulgarian lands from ancient times till the liberation from Ottoman yoke. On the basis of written works by Herodotus, Plutarch, Diodorus, Thucydides, Strabo as well as by epigraphic and papyrus sources and travel notes of wayfarer, the natality, mortality, mean life duration and age structure of population between 2nd millennium BC till 1880 are followed up.
