Summary/Abstract: Ndre Mjeda, master of Albanian classic poetry, is a writer that perfectly bonded not only literary affinities that characterize the end of renaissance and starting period of the literature of the twentieth century, but that bonded Albanian poetry with the European classicist affinity more then any other writer of the time. It is not surprising thus that all of those who dealt in a manner or another with his literary or linguistic work called him both a classic of Albanian literature, and master of poetic language, they would call him classic stylist, a peculiar stylist of Albanian literature. This definition of the rare poetical sensitivity and accuracy of the poet, of prudent translator, of insightful linguist, distinguished erudite, obliges further Albanian scholar to prove argumentatively these definitions, since they still remain only as pre-estimations or prejudices. In this work is outlined the opinion that Ndre Mjeda’s poetic language lies in linguistic realizations through folk and classical discursive models; that Ndre Mjeda’s poetic language discovers especially through the lexical selection the sense for harmony, musicality and euphonic expression, and that Ndre Mjeda’s poetic language has expanded considerably possibilities of semantic-structural connections of the word bringing new qualities in linguistic expression and individualizing in the high level individual artistic expression. The richness, so to call, of his linguistic esthetics unfolds unique stylistic samples and constitutes the most valuable side of his artistic work at present.
