Summary/Abstract: The object of study is the search for post-modern elements in the novels “Death Comes from such Eyes” and “One Love and Seven Sins” by Rexhep Qosja with particular emphasis on the search for postmodern citations and inter-text two very essential elements for the model. The paper deals with a theoretical determination of what postmodern literature is, considering scientific references by numerous foreign and Albanian authors writing for that type of literature. The study brings a concrete analysis of citation structures of parts in which it occurs, as well as the stylistic and semantic function of structures within these novels. In regard to that a presence of citations from the Bible, popular literature, various writers and philosophers, Montesquieu, etc., has been noticed. On that ground, it has been assessed that this author’s novels make up a citation complex in itself. Following citation structures a presence of post-modern inter-textual element has also been felt in these novels giving a concrete picture of intertextual relation analyses in Rexhep Qosja’s novels with various works of world literature, biblical and popular stories where forms of presentation and their functions in the novels have been treated. Hence we come to the conclusion that citation and intertext make up a denotation extension of the works, meaning they are not simply formal elements.
