On the Philosophy Underlying the National Qualifications Framework

Summary/Abstract: The primary thesis of this article points to the fact that the shift in educational strategies stands as a functional requisite of the contemporary social system. The National Qualifications Framework comprises an instrument serving to increase the level of quality in education and to render the educational process more flexible via the vertical mobility which is a cornerstone in the Bologna process. Undertaken in this treatise is an attempt to order and organize the conceptual apparatus.
