Summary/Abstract: A Brief Stop On the Road From Auschwitz is a work devoid of revanchism or desire of revenge. In his book Goran Rosenberg is a son who is trying to understand his father’s suicide, a son who is concerned about his father’s honour, and finally a son who bids farewell to his father. Grynberg had been waiting for a long time for a publication where historical knowledge would go “hand in hand” with an emotional account, and where all that would be done for the sake of improving the understanding of the world.
