Summary/Abstract: Investigating the methods by which the Romanian Constitutional Court has made its mark on the electoral process in the legislative elections, local ones and, more recently, the European Parliament demands a clarification of certain aspects related to the specific subject matter. This paper is not intended to address the constitutionality control over the presidential elections, as a number of papers exist on this subject. Instead, we intend to analyze the issue of control exercised by the Constitutional Court of Romania in an area over which it has no direct control.
