Summary/Abstract: This paper represents new results about flint outcrops that were exploited in the Epipaleolithic in the Northwestern Caucasus. On the basis of study of archaeological materials from several basic sites in the region and petrography analyses the authors make conclusions about natural sources exploitation, mobility patterns, adaptations and cultural contacts of Homo sapiens in that period.
