Summary/Abstract: In this work the study object is the group of portrait Stelae of the central part of Dardania – today’s Kosova, where the best can be followed stylish and fashion (hairstyle) characteristics to see how much this territory was in time running in this aspect. In spite of the small number of stelae of this group where the woman is presented with uncovered hair, who came from areas of two urban centres: Ulpiana (figs. 1, 2) and municip with unknown name in region town of Pejavillage of Dërsnik near Klina (figs. 3, 6), this brings us to these results: fashion (hairstyle), which has to do with its client and culture, with an exception of the woman in stela from Ulpiana (fig. 2) and of the man in stela from Vushtrria with hypothetic hairstyle, it does not show any retardation; whereas the style – which is linked to the workshop rank and masters’ education – in one side, based on the retardation of an eye modeling almost at all portraits (figs. 2, 4 ,6) and at the other side, in expression and general outlook of the portraits in the two later Stelae from Ulpiana (fig. 2) and Peja (fig. 6) which match with the time belonging to, we can talk for the partialstylistic retardation. In the end we can say, observing from these two aspects, Dardania, with strong keeping identity, can not be divided from artisticcultural time concerning.
