Summary/Abstract: "Behram-bey" Library in Tuzla is a public and specialized library of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its main aim is to educate, provide information and meet the cultural and scientific needs of the citizens in the field of Islamic studies, cultural tradition of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other disciplines.Library fund consists of: oriental collection, a collection written in Bosnian and a collection of archive material. "Behram-bey" Library, in its unique way, presents and disseminates Islamic are presented to the audience through unique cultural events, wich is always accompanied by a feedback from the audience (library users), who become, ofter the promotion, interested, in more ways than one, in books, science, and the problems that are treated in the promoted books. "Behram-bey" Library, with the subject matter wich it nurtures, responds to the needs of the moment and the times in wich we live. Overcoming alienation and restoring oneself through books is a universally accepted mode. Hence the great interest in the kind of literature offered by the "Behram-bey" Library.
