Summary/Abstract: Based on original sources as well as printed and published literature, the author is writing about the Jakušić family that had moved from their homeland Slavonia to northern regions of the Habsburg Monarchy, namely present-day Slovakia, in an attempt to evade the Turkish danger. He presents their genealogy in a chronological fashion and provides important information about their possessions, mostly in the village of Pruské, about their family connections, about bishop Juraj Jakušić, and about the end of their existence on Slovakian territory at the end of the seventeenth century
