Ćontrastive analysis of temporal expressions that indicate parts of the day in Spanish, French and Polish

Summary/Abstract: We propose a comparative study on the Spanish, French and Polish, temporal expressions referring to the parts of the day, in order to see if the speakers of the three languages use to divide the day in the same or different way. The initial hypothesis that we hold is that the time, is generally perceived in the three languages in a similar way, yet at the level of specific expressions we can find differences arising from the sociolinguistic and cultural otherness between speakers of the three languages.
