Summary/Abstract: Over the past decade, there has been increasing evidence describing the impact of corporate social responsibility and corporate governance on firm value, the relation between crisis-period performance and corporate governance, and the factors that drive the inverse relation between firm performances. This paper aims to analyze and discuss corporate governance mechanisms’ impact on firm performance, the relation between firm performance and corporate governance during the crisis, and the relation between governance mechanisms and firm performance.
