Summary/Abstract: In this paper is made attempt, from current view, to elucidate philosophical, methodological and epistemological ideas of Bulgarian writer Georgy Danailov about economy, and particularly about Bulgarian economy during first half of XXth. century. Danailov applies historico-organical approach in the light of tradition of Ivan Bogorov. Thus he stands that economic activity and economic institutions are variable, that they must be studied in connection with place, time, culture, and national specifics. They are a fundamental for the social life, but out of the other relations and institutions, which arrange, support and develop them, they are incomprehensible and chaotic. Only ethics can give the politics its guiding ideas, central of which is the idea of the supreme value of human personality. This organic epistemological approach forces Danailov to maintain as Condorce's law about mutual determination and parallelism in development of material and spiritual values, as "the fundamental economic law "of balancing between sacrifices (expenditures) and results (benefits). Danailov do not stays in the "diluted air" of metaphysical abstractions. From his works it is possible to deduce an entire program of economic development of Bulgaria, which has, above all, importance for our times
