ANALYZING THE CASES OF EXCLUSION FROM REFUGEE PROTECTION

Summary/Abstract: The international protection of the refugees has been and remains a crucial issue of humanity. In this study I intended to look at the cases of refugee exclusion from protection in order to outline an overall image of the current process of international protection of refugees. The problem of the refugees is a current issue because of the increasingly frequent existence of those reasons which lead to the granting of refugee status. Regarding this issue, a number of international regulations were enacted during the international reunions and conferences. Facing the increasing immigrants waves, the Western countries were forced to adopt a new policy on the status of the foreigners, defined by reducing the number of refugee assistance programs, which did not allow a clear distinction between them and the migrants.
