Ivanko and the Demise of the Dobroudja Domain

Summary/Abstract: The question of the Dobroudja domain has provoked arguments and discussions – questions arise and multiply – apparently this is a multi-flow scientific problem. There are disputes about the date of its emerging, the genealogy of the first archonts, its ethnic orientation, its capitals, titles and lastly – the termination of this interesting XIV century state formation in Dobroudja. In this article the author makes an attempt to bring a new light to the answer to these problems. For that end he enlists the entire scientific literature, studies and comments on the accessible source materials and argues with the authors of already approved opinions in order to build the fullest picture for the events possible, the personalities and facts around the history of the Dobroudja domain.
