Summary/Abstract: This treatise outlines the development of Slovak Christian-Democratic Parties - the Christian-Democratic Movement (KDH) and the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU) – after the parliamentary election in 2006. The government cooperation (2002-2006) between both subjects was complicate because of important ideological differences in their party policies. SDKÚ-DS is a more liberal than conservative Formation and KDH is a purely Christian-Democratic Party. After eight years the parties got in the opposition. The new role brought any problems in their intern Organisations. This treatise focuses important moment in politics and development of both Slovak Christian-Democratic Parties in the opposition.
