Summary/Abstract: The autonomy, imposed by the knowledge accumulated in time, progressively at the beginning, exponentially afterwards, in the infinite memory of mankind has challenged the need for systematizing the information. In the Romanian society the call for bibliographies has grown perpetually from the first manifestations through theory and standardizations, following the ever-increasing flow of documents and the degree of complexity and diversity of the interests in having a better understanding of man and society.
