Summary/Abstract: The main theme and object of the paper is the analysis of social services for growing population of old people in Poland. It starts with showing the state and perspectives of demographic situation in Poland. Social services for the elderly and their evaluation are presented in the next parts of the article. Social services for the old people in other countries of the European Union are presented in next part of the paper. In conclusion author tries to present recommendations for social services for the old people in Poland.
