Some Observations on Religios Minorities

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we attempt to problematize the position of religious minorities, with special emphasis on different neo-protestant communities. We also discuss some key concepts such are religious pluralism, diversity, social distance, as well as various forms of minority identity. Pointing to the necessity of introducing religious other, like many neo-Protestant communities, the paper discusses the possibility of inter-religious dialogue in multicultural and multi-confessional communities.
