Summary/Abstract: Metaethics of the late 20th and 21st century shows signs of revitalization. This is evident from the huge production of papers and books that deal with this discipline. However, hyperproduction does not necessarily mean quality. Modern has replaced its predecessor (emotivism), the question is how well. Their theoretical rivals, naturalists, are trying to levitate between the methodological assumptions and substantive claims. But contemporary expressivism and naturalism in metaethics have something in common: the idea of linguistic revision.
