Teacher (1888-1894), parish priest in Rasnov (1894-1901), priest and dean in Alba Iulia (1901-1922), president of the Romanian National Council of Alba Iulia, the first bishop of the Army in 1922-1924, bishop of the White Castle-Ismail 1924-1932.
