Gândind la o anume cartă albă
Thinking About a Certain White Chart
Author(s): Dan AnghelescuSubject(s): Literary Texts
Published by: Fondul Europa
Keywords: exile; Romanian writers; spiritual and cultural identity
Summary/Abstract: The article underlines the openness of the literature written in the Romanian geographic space towards s the Romanian literature written overseas. This fact has been emphasized on various occasions in different places such as Prague, Bratislava, Poznan, etc. Despite this openness, in Romanian, literary exile is maintained at the periphery of studies and interpretations. With some exceptions (Ionescu, Eliade, Cioran), researchers seem to ignore both the literature of exile and the articles about exile. Thus, important names such as Vintilă Horia, Alexandru Busuiocianu, George Uscătescu, Constantin Amăriuţei, Theodor Cazaban, Ştefan Baciu, Octavian Vuia, Alexandru Ciorănescu, George Ciorănescu, Mircea Popescu should be written in a certain White Charter.
