Summary/Abstract: This article is about questions related to the publishing of the collected works of Jakub Deml (1878–1961). The authors of the article consider methodological questions and the history of two conceptions, that of Martin C. Putna and that of Daniela Iwashita and Markéta Kořená, and express their reservations about the consistency of the selected approaches.
