Children’s and adolescents’ health inequalities from the life‑course perspective

Summary/Abstract: The paper looks at the theoretical basis of research on social inequalities in health from the life‑course perspective. The author states that numerous studies have proven that the living conditions in the prenatal period, childhood and adolescence influence health at the later stages of life. The article introduces recent international publications focusing on effective intervention programs and systemic solutions implemented in various countries. Examples of interventions aimed at different age groups and specific health‑related problems are also discussed.
