Summary/Abstract: Publication of a letter by Johann Friedrich Philippi from Kronstadt (Brasov) to bishop Georg Daniel Teutsch from 1872. The author criticises the views of Ludwig Korodi, professor in the high school of Kronstadt, published under the title of "Theological debris". The views of Philippi can be interpreted as a precursor of national-socialist thinking.
