Summary/Abstract: Nacism's intolerance of difference and preference of monolitic unity, whether defined in racial or national terms, represented a counter-revolution. nacists asserted the novelty of their ideas, but the mainsprings of their believes were pre-modern. The base of the doctrine was antithetic, with elements of right and left political theories and very far from critical spirit. Lamenting a lost past, nacism proposed a non-rational and immoral barbarian anti-utopia from which all diversity, individualism and pluralism would be extinguished.
